Full Biography: Hanns Hallesius

Hanns Hallesius is recognized as a leading expert in strategic intellectual property (IP) management. Throughout his diverse career in the field, Hanns has been a prominent advocate for smarter IP strategies that drive stronger business value. For 14 years, he served as Global Head of IP at the Electrolux Group, where he guided the development and implementation of effective IP strategy and processes. Prior to this, Hanns held senior roles at the European IP law firm AWA and was a board member of Swedish IP Law Firm, IPQ, now Rouse.

Hanns has also made significant contributions as an advisor, serving on the Advisory Committee to the Swedish Patent & Registration Office (PRV) for 10 years. He is currently serving in the Global Advisory Council for SagaciousElevate and the Advisory Board for CIP, the Center for Intellectual Property. He holds an MBA from Copenhagen Business School and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology.

Internationally recognized for his leadership in IP value creation, Hanns has been repeatedly honored by IAM (Intellectual Asset Magazine), including listings in the IAM Strategy 300 and IAM Strategy 300 Global Leaders. Beyond advisory work through his own firm, Hallesius Consulting, he is deeply involved in the startup sector, in particular as founder of the sustainable transportation startup Tructric.
