Dominic Davies

Dominic spent 20 years as a patent attorney before co-founding Lightbringer. But he didn't start in law; he started as a software engineer. That technical background meant he saw patent work differently. Where others saw necessary complexity, he saw inefficiency.
In 2013, he started building tools to automate the repetitive parts of his own practice. When AI caught up to his vision, Lightbringer was born. Over his career, Dominic has filed patents for companies ranging from university spinouts to Fortune 500 corporations.
He's worked across biotech, software, hardware, and industrial automation, experience that shapes how he built Lightbringer. He's seen what works and what doesn't, and built Lightbringer around it.
Ola Wassvik

Ola has spent 20 years building deep tech companies, the kind where the science is unproven, the timelines are long, and everyone tells you it's impossible.
As co-founder and CTO of FlatFrog, he raised close to $100M in venture capital and managed more than 300 patent families. Like most deep tech founders, he became the "accidental IP manager," figuring out patent strategy between product sprints and board meetings. He knows the pain firsthand: disconnected strategy, surprise invoices, attorneys who don't speak the language of engineers. He's written a book on it, “A Game of Deep Tech: A Player's Guide for Founders Making the Impossible Possible”.
At Lightbringer, he brings that hard-won experience directly to the founders who need it most.
Markus Andreasson
CTO, Co-Founder & Board Member
Markus has spent 25 years writing software, but never the kind that stands still. From Sony to Voyado to FlatFrog, he's moved through industries and problem spaces, always gravitating toward the hard technical challenges others avoided. That restlessness made him one of the earliest engineers to treat AI not as a feature to bolt on, but as the foundation to build from.
He's a pioneer of AI-native software, systems designed around what AI can do, not retrofitted to include it. He's also put his name on more than 50 patent applications, which means he understands the patent system as an inventor, not just a builder.
At Lightbringer, he's the reason the platform works the way it does.
