Submitting a disclosure sends it for review inside Lightbringer. It does not file anything with a patent office.
Engagement, drafting, filing, prosecution (responses to examiner feedback) and portfolio transfer run through Lightbringer's patent attorneys and the Lightbringer application. Your agent hands off at each of these points and can follow progress on the same case afterwards. "Request received", "engagement accepted" and "application filed" are distinct states and are never collapsed into one.

No. Anything that only reads data runs freely. Anything that changes data, such as creating, updating, submitting, or commenting, is confirmed with you first by default.

Yes. You need a Lightbringer account and an organisation, and an organisation moderator must turn on MCP access in the Lightbringer app under Settings, then Advanced. If you are new to Lightbringer, sign up free at app.lightbringer.com/signup and create your organisation first. The Platform tier costs nothing; access through the connector is scoped to one organisation per connection.
It can read and write your invention disclosures, attorney reviews, comments, and related patent-workflow documents, scoped to the single organisation you selected at sign-in. Worth being clear about what that means in practice: once your assistant reads that data, it's in your session with that assistant's provider, and Lightbringer has no control over how long they keep it or whether it's used for anything else. We'd recommend checking your provider's own data controls before connecting sensitive, pre-filing invention details.
