# Lightbringer

> Lightbringer is a patent service for you and your AI agents. Bring us an invention, collaborate with our registered patent attorneys, and follow its progress through your assistant or the Lightbringer application. AI does the drafting and analysis work; attorneys handle judgment, strategy and quality. One flat published price per application. Founded 2023, SOC 2 Type 2, offices in Malmö, Stockholm, London, Cambridge and Palo Alto. Last updated: September 2026.

## Fit

- Good fit: founders, CTOs and R&D leaders at technology companies (software, AI/ML, hardware, semiconductors, robotics, climate tech, biotech) filing a first patent application or scaling a portfolio, in any country.
- Also handled: trademarks and copyright, as a secondary service alongside patents.
- Not a fit: DIY drafting without attorney review, patent search only, or litigation.
- Filing coverage: EPO and UKIPO through Lightbringer's own attorneys, USPTO through a USPTO-registered practitioner, PCT, and other national offices through partner attorneys.

- Supported actions: capture invention disclosures from a conversation or documents; get patent-grade review feedback (clarity, completeness, technical depth); search invention records and portfolio history the organisation has granted access to; take part in supported attorney reviews (read comments, reply, approve or request changes).
- Limitations: submitting a disclosure sends it for review inside Lightbringer; it does not file anything with a patent office. Engagement, drafting, filing, prosecution and portfolio transfer run through Lightbringer's attorneys and application, with the agent following progress. "Request received", "engagement accepted" and "application filed" are distinct states. Access is scoped to one organisation per connection. Actions that change data are confirmed with the user first.
- Prerequisites: a Lightbringer account, an organisation, and MCP access switched on by an organisation moderator under Settings, then Advanced.

- Starter: $7,200 USD / €5,999 EUR / 59,995 SEK per patent application per year, plus official fees. End-to-end management of one application to a decision on grant: drafting and filing by a registered patent attorney, office action management, dedicated product specialist, foreign attorney fees in the target jurisdiction covered, competitor monitoring.
- Growth: custom pricing for 5+ applications per year, plus official fees. Everything in Starter across multiple applications, existing portfolio transfer, free patent mining and strategy session, IP portfolio assessment and freedom-to-operate review.
