Introducing credits: pay for AI as you use it

The Lightbringer platform evolves quickly, and more and more growing tech companies want agents to handle their IP work. That's why we're introducing usage-based pricing for our self-serve AI features and Topics. Credits give you the flexibility to use as much or as little AI as you need, while helping us develop more advanced features over time.

5,000 free credits to get you started

If you’re on the Starter plan, you get 5,000 credits, valid for 90 days. Your balance shows as a small ring next to the chat box, and the basic AI model stays free and unlimited.

What you can do with credits

• Find similar patents. Get tailored patent-search links to explore patents related to your invention.
• Get a draft started. Use frontier AI models to prepare an invention disclosure as a starting point for patent drafting and review by a registered patent attorney.
• Develop your IP strategy. Create an IP strategy draft for review, based on your business and inventions.
• Generate images and drawings. Ask Lightbringer Assistant to turn a description into a drawing that illustrates your invention.

Pay for what the model uses

Credit use depends on the model and the work it does, so a short question typically uses fewer credits than a long drafting run. Paid AI models and reasoning options use credits, and so does generating images. The Basic model, invention disclosures, documents, exports, and patent search stay free. When credits run out, credit-based topics lock, while chat can continue with the Basic model.

Joined through a partner?

If you sign up through one of our partners, you get 25,000 credits, valid for 180 days. They replace the partner trial and show as their own line in your purchase history. If you joined through a partner and your trial is still running, we will email you about your credits.

On Pro or Growth?

If you’re on a Pro or Growth plan, or have a portfolio management seat, check the AI usage terms of your plan before buying additional credits.

Add credits when you need them

Moderators add credits in Settings, then Plans and credits. Packs cost €100, €300, and €500 excluding VAT, expire after 12 months, and come with a VAT invoice. Credits only pay for AI: registered patent attorneys still review and sign every filing.
