Lightbringer is an innovative company dedicated to revolutionizing the patenting experience for inventors. By harnessing the power of generative AI along with our extensive expertise in the patent industry, the Lightbringer platform streamlines and accelerates the entire patent process from beginning to end.
The idea behind the company originates from Dominic Davies, a patent attorney with a background in software engineering, who envisioned automating the patent process. As the founder of an IP (intellectual property) law firm, he sought to minimize the time spent on patent administration to allow him to focus on strategic work and client care. He found a way — and the team — to make it a reality.
Our team boasts extensive experience in technology, innovation, IP and entrepreneurship, all united by a common goal: to reinvent patent protection for the AI era.

Dominic Davies

Dominic has had a rich career in technology and intellectual property, working extensively with innovative startups.
Dominic co-founded Lightbringer eight years after co-founding Invent Horizon IP, an IP services firm heavily leveraging software and automation.
Dominic has held significant roles including Board Member at AlixLabs and Chassis Autonomy, advisory roles at BirthGlide, Interim CEO at Reccan AB, and was Head of IP at FlatFrog Laboratories.
With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by tech companies in protecting their IP, Dominic now focuses on automating IP services globally.

A passionate product builder, Markus Andreasson drives innovation as CTO and Co-Founder of Lightbringer. His experience leading teams and building cutting-edge AI-powered SaaS products at Voyado and FlatFrog fuels his ambition to revolutionize the patent landscape.
With 50+ patents to his name, including a prolific history at Sony, he brings a proven track record of technical innovation to the company.

Ola oversees Lightbringer’s go-to-market team to support the company’s rapid growth.
Ola brings over 20 years of experience from the tech industry, most recently having served as CTO at Flatfrog, a company he co-founded in 2007, that has become the de-facto technology leader in the interactive display space.
Ola is a prolific inventor and brings long experience of creating patent portfolios for tech-heavy companies having overseen patent portfolios with hundreds of patents which gives him unique insight into the issues facing entrepreneurs creating strong patent protection for their technologies.

Her 15+ years of finance expertise at the heart of the UK Government, coupled with her experience running a venture capital firm focused on deep tech, give her a unique understanding of the startup ecosystem and investor expectations alongside the wider economic landscape.
Pamela’s adept at guiding companies through early-stage growth, crafting compelling pitches, securing funding through grants or investments, and developing robust financial models. Her commitment to empowering innovators makes her an invaluable asset to Lightbringer.

Andrew Stentiford is a Founding Member of Lightbringer AB and a specialist in European and UK patents, trademarks, and design law.
As a European and UK Patent and Trademark Attorney with over 20 years of IP experience, Andrew is also a Partner at Invent Horizon IP consultancy.Previously, he served as Head of Intellectual Property at Maersk Line & A.P. Møller Mærsk in Denmark, where he established an IP department and developed an IP strategy across five business units.
His in-house experience includes his role as IP counsel at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., UK, managing extensive patent and trademark portfolios and handling complex matters, including European litigation and patent and trademark oppositions.
Andrew holds an MSci in Physics and Astronomy from Durham University, UK.
